I've got Candy Crush and Filofax on the brain

Yay, I have a reader! Welcome to my world!

This is my second attempt at blogging...we'll see if I have the discipline to keep up with it and if I can grow a thick enough skin. Some people can be so mean. The majority are wonderful and that one bad apple can make you curl into a ball in the corner, figuratively. I'm not THAT frail. However,  I mentally prepared this time and told myself only the kind-hearted will visit my new blog!

You could describe me as a Jane of all trades and a master of none: I like to get my hands into everything and once I try/learn it I'll move on to the next thing that catches my attention.  *sigh* Maybe It's ADD?  I don't know, but I like change and I like to mix things up.

Speaking of mixing things up (ha ha)...one thing I will never give up is cooking and baking. I've always enjoyed whipping up a meal or a dessert and it's an expression of love when I feed my family and friends. There's something so satisfying about creating a meal from scratch and watching my family enjoy it. A dish full of dirty dishes is another story, though!

Currently I have a small obsession with playing Candy Crush. Yeah. Bejeweled, I will never give you up, but Candy Crush is playing hard to get and I'm a fool that won't walk away. If you've played it you understand. It makes me crazy when I run out of lives and that damn timer pops up. Arghh!

And recently I have been preoccupied with the world of Filofax. If you love paper and stationery (yes!) and have a love of handbags (that too!) then a Filofax is like having the best of both worlds. Really, it is...and you can justify having it by needing to stay organized.  My problem is I have four of them, a Franklin Covey and a couple other planners in my stash. Do I need all of them? No. But it's like having shoes and handbags. You can't just own one, right? I don't know what it is, but the decorating and personalizing aspect just makes organizing with a Filofax so enjoyable. Long gone are my days of planning with plain black and white pages and a blue ballpoint pen. Color me happy with my pen collection, sticky notes and washi tape!

So tonight, during the Candy Crush time-outs, I'll be "synching" up the two Filofaxes I normally tote around with my old FC (Franklin Covey) I leave at home. I don't think I'll be decorating any pages because I need to get in bed before the sun comes out!

Current obsessions: personal Finsbury in black, compact Finsbury in raspberry,
pink Franklin Covey A5 in the background, and Candy Crush on the iPad.
